Winter Park’s yearly average snowfall of 370-inches makes Winter Park a favorite resort for skiers and snowboarders of every level. The main mountain- designed for intermediates and beginners- is interconnected with its sister mountain, Mary Jane, home to some of the most challenging bump runs anywhere. Getting around Winter Park is easy with 22 lifts, including eight high-speed quads and the new Eskimo Quad.

Non-skiers enjoy snowshoeing, snowcat and snowmobile tours, and mountaintop dining in the magnificent Lodge at Sunsport. Come to ski Winter Park and discover that Winter Park’s Restaurants and shopping abound in the nearby towns of Winter Park and Fraser. Winter park is the closest major resort to the Denver International Airport, an easy 90 miles away- another reason it has become one of the nation’s favorite ski destinations.

Great Mountain

Excellent
This was my first time skiing at a mountain this large and it was better than I expected. One the shuttle to the resort, several people told me the skiing was better than Aspen and Vail. I'm not sure how accurate that is, but I believe it is probably better for the price. The Winter Park village at the bottom of the slopes closes down way too...

Love Winter Park

Excellent
Went to WP in December 2010 and absolutely loved it. No lift lines, wide open trails, great friendly staff. Excellent diversity of trails and toms of skiable terrain. I can't wait to go back! Definitely seemed to be a locals mountain - doesn't get the same congestion as some of the more well known spots in Colorado. We stayed at the Olympia...

I loved Winter Park

Excellent
Had a great time. Weather and conditions were very good. Beaver Village Condos are on the bus route and the buses run on schedule and make it easy to get to and from mountain. If some in your party want to go home early it makes it easy. Rented skis through the demo shop and they were great at helping me pick the right ski for the right...

We loved Winter Park

Good
Great resort! We were there for 4 days, and never got to ski all the slopes.  Great variety of slopes for skiers and boarders.  Incredibly beautiful views from slopes and from the lodges.  Lines go very quickly - never had to wait more than 5 minutes, and we were there during Christmas break.

Best variety at Winter Park

5
Excellent
Our extended adult family had a wonderful time at Winter Park.  We have a wide range of skiing skills from novice to expert and all found many different runs to please our needs.  Snow conditions were excellent and getting into the ski area is much easier than pricier areas (Vail, Aspen).  The best value in Colorado.
